November 8 | Serge Labesque & better beehives

Since he first became a beekeeper over 20 years ago, Sonoma County’s Serge Labesque has labored to build a better beehive — one that is more like the natural trees and logs that honeybees evolved to occupy. In this session, Labesque will describe the hives he’s developed for his family-owned farm in Glen Ellen, CA and why he thinks they’re better for bees. Should be an interesting contrast to the Langstroth orthodoxy you will usually hear from us at SFBA.

When: Wednesday, Nov 8, 2017
Where: St Johns Armenian Church, 275 Olympia Way, SF
When: 7-9pm

This meeting is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
